Most MorselNote issues can be resolved without risking your private diary data.
Food search is unavailable
Check your connection and try again in a minute. If USDA search is temporarily busy, you can optionally add your own free FoodData Central API key under Settings → Advanced troubleshooting.
A barcode has no match
Packaged-food data can be incomplete. Tap Add this product to keep the scanned barcode while entering its nutrition label. You may optionally share those product facts anonymously for community review; sharing is never required to save or log the food locally.
Export or delete your data
Open Settings to export the diary as CSV or choose Delete all local data. If encrypted sync is enabled, use Settings → Encrypted sync → Delete Encrypted Vault to remove the cloud copy for all connected devices.
Contact the developer
Use the developer contact displayed on MorselNote's App Store or Google Play listing. Include your device model, operating-system version, MorselNote version, and what you expected to happen. Do not include a USDA API key or private diary details.
